     The following provisions of the Criminal Records Review Act, 1995
     come into force on the dates indicated: a) sections 1 to 31, 33,
     37 to 39, 41, 43, 46, 48, 49, 51, 53 to 58 and Schedule 1 and
     Schedule 2, other than section 3 on January 1, 1996. b) sections
     42, 50 and 52 on October 1, 1996. c) sections 32, 40 and 47 on
     April 1, 1997.  Schedule 2 of the Criminal Records Review Act  is
     amended by repealing item 3.

     Act.,

     The Minister is authorized to issue park use permits for utility
     corridors, road rights of way, trail access, communication sites,

     angling guide, trapping and guide outfitters.

     Effective December 31, 1995: (a) sections 45(a), 46(a), that

     and 51 of Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 3), 1995 are
     brought into force. (b) section 3(b) of the Waste Management
     Amendment Act, 1994 is brought into force. (c) the Motor Vehicle
     Emissions Reduction Regulation is made.

     Section 7(2) of B.C. Reg. 479/76 - the Guaranteed Available
     Income for Need Regulations is amended by striking out "or" at
     the end of paragraph (g), by adding "or" at the end of paragraph
     (h) and by adding the following paragraph: (i) is to the
     superintendent, as defined in section 1 of the Family and Child
     Service Act, for the purposes of an investigation relating to a
     child protection matter under that Act.
