Effective January 1, 1998:
(a) sections 55, insofar as it enacts paragraph (f) of the, definition of "motor vehicle indebtedness" in section, 30.1(1) of the Insurance (Motor Vehicle) Act, 58 and 59, of the Traffic Safety Statutes Amendment Act, 1997, are, brought into force.
(b) the Revised regulation (1984) under the Insurance (Motor, Vehicle) Act, B.C. Reg. 447/83, is amended as described, (RE by adding section 64. 1 Crash responsibility, charge.)
(c) section 64.1 of Act, B.C. Reg. 447/83, as enacted by, section 1 of the schedule, does not apply to a certificate,, policy or endorsement that was issued before January 1,, 1998.
