(a) section 1 insofar as it enacts the definitions of "bank to bank dam", "construction of a bank to bank dam" and "protected river".
(b) section 2 and 3.
(c) section 13(2) except paragraphs (b) to (d).
(d) sections 14 to 16.
(e) section 22(b) insofar as it adds paragraph (x) and (z) to section , 41(1) of the Water Act.
(f) section 22(c) insofar as it enacts section 41(2.1), except paragraphs (a), (b) and (d), of the Water Act.
(g) sections 22(d), 23 and 34.

Section 24(7)(e.1) of B.C. Reg. 608/76 - the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing subparagraphs (i) and (ii)
(b) by adding the following subparagraph:
(iii) the sign is displayed no earlier than April 1, 1998 and no later than April 15, 1998 and is displayed on behalf of the manufacturer sponsoring the event that takes place in that facility during that period.

(a) effective April 1, 1998, section 9 of the Supplement to the Liquor, Control and Licensing Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 267, is, by this Regulation, brought into force.
(b) effective April 1, 1998, B.C. Reg. 608/76 - the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulations, is amended as set out in sections 1 to 4 of the Schedule.
(c) effective September 1, 1998, B.C. Reg. 608/76 - the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulations, is amended as set out in sections 5 and 6 of the Schedule.

Effective March 23, 1998: B.C. Reg. 216/94 - the Tobacco Sales Regulation is amended
(a) in section 3(1)(a) by striking out "it is illegal to sell tobacco to anyone under 19 years of age. Photo ID may be required" and substituting "Tobacco products are highly addictive. It is illegal to sell tobacco to anyone under 19 years of age. If any doubt, photo ID is required."
(b) by repealing and substituting Schedule 1.

Section 1 of the Schedule to B.C. Reg. 385/97 (an amendment to the Employment Standards Regulation) is amended by striking out "$1458.60" and substituting "$1461.00" RE revision to the minimum monthly wage for resident caretakers in apartment buildings with 61 or more suites.
