(1) The following sections of the Forests Statutes Amendment Act, 1997, are brought into force:
(a) section 97
(b) that part of section 107 that enacts section 117.2 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act
(c) section 154.
(2) B.C. Reg. 174/95 -- the Operational Planning Regulation is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
(3) B.C. Reg. 172/95 -- the Forest Road Regulation is amended as set out in Schedule 2.
(4) Effective June 15, 1998: the following sections of the Forests Statutes Amendment Act, 1997, are brought into force and the 4 month period referred to in section 12(b)(ii) of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act does not apply for the purposes of these provisions:
(a) sections 44(1), 45(b), 55(a), 56(a), 64, 65, 68(b), 73 and 79(b);
(b) that part of section 79(c) that repeals and substitutes section 41(7)(a) and (b) of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act
(c) sections 81, 84, 86, 91, 94(a) and 96(e).
(d) that part of section 101 that repeals and substitutes
      (i) section 96(1)(a) to (f), (g)(i) and (ii) and
      (ii) section 96(2) to (4) of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act
(e) section 126(a)
(f) that part of section 127 that enacts section 212.1 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act;
(g) that of section 136 that enacts Division 8 of Part 11 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act
(h) sections 139, 142 and 145(a).
(5) Effective June 15, 1998, B.C. Reg. 185/97 -- the Forest Practices Code Transitional Regulation is repealed.
(6) Effective June 16, 1998, section 143 of the Forest Statutes Amendment Act, 1997 is brought into force.
