(c) in section 25 by striking out section 23 and substituting section 22 and by striking out sections 15, 17 and 18 and substituting sections 21, 23 and 24,
(d) in section 27 by striking out Immigration and substituting Immigration and Minister Responsible for the Public Service,
(e) in section 29 by striking out Minister of Multiculturalism and Immigration and substituting Minister of Multiculturalism and Immigration and Minister Responsible for the Public Service, and
(f) in section 30 by striking out section 29 and substituting sections 28 and 29.
2 The transfers of powers, duties, functions and enactments, and other changes, set out in the Appendix to this order are made and provisions that in previous orders charge another member of the Executive Council, or another ministry, with responsibility for these powers, duties, functions and enactments are rescinded.
3 The unexpended balance of money and other resources authorized for the administration of powers, duties, functions and enactments transferred under this order to a member of the Executive Council or a ministry may be expended by and through that member or ministry.
APPENDIX
1 The powers, duties and functions respecting the British Columbia 2000 Program in the Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology are transferred to the Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Human Rights and Ministry of Attorney General respectively.
2 The powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Womens Equality and Ministry of Womens Equality respecting the Vancouver Agreement Unit are transferred to the Minister of Community Development, Cooperatives and Volunteers and Ministry of Community Development, Cooperatives and Volunteers respectively.
3 The powers, duties and functions, if any, of the Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations respecting the operation of the Environmental Assessment Office are transferred to the Minister of Environment, Lands and Parks and Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks respectively.
4 The powers, duties and functions respecting the Crown Corporations Secretariat in the Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology are transferred to the Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations respectively.
5 Responsibility for the following enactments is transferred to the Minister of Multiculturalism and Immigration and Minister Responsible for the Public Service who is charged with their administration:
(a) Multiculturalism Act;
(b) Refugee Settlement Act;
(c) provisions of the Ministry of International Business and Immigration Act respecting immigration;
(d) the Pacific National Exhibition Incorporation Act.
6 Responsibility for the following enactments is transferred to the Minister of Social Development and Economic Security who is charged with their administration:
(a) Housing Construction (Elderly Citizens) Act;
(b) section 5 (c), 8.1 and 10 of the Minister of Lands, Parks and Housing Act.
7 The powers, duties and functions respecting the Buss Pass Program in the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations is tranferred to the Minister of Social Development and Economic Security and Ministry of Social Development and Economic Security respectively.
