a)   the appointment of Morris Redecopp as registrar made by OIC, 194/97 is rescinded.
b) Morris Redecopp is appointed as director for the purposes of, the Credit Reporting Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 81.

a)   sections 1 to 8 of the Consumer Protection Statutes Amendment, Act, 2001 are brought into force by this regulation.
b) the Direct Sellers Regulation, B.C. Reg. 419/93 - is amended , as follows:
(i)  section 1 is amended by repealing the definition of, "license"
(ii)  section 4 is repealed
(iii)  section 5(1) is amended by striking out "and part 2"(iv) sections 6 to 8 are repealed (v) the Appendix is repealed.

a)   sections 9 to 22 of the Consumer Protection Statutes, Amendment Act, 2001 are brought into force by this regulation.
b) the Credit Reporting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 564/74 - is, amended as follows:
(i)  section 2 to 5 are repealed
(ii)  section 11 is amended by striking out "registrar" wherever it, occurs and substituting "director"
(iii)  section 12(2) is repealed
(iv)  sections 12(5) is amended by striking out "registrar" and, substituting "director"
(v)  section 13 is repealed
(vi)  forms A to C are repealed.
