Reg. 426/97 - the Medical and Health Care Services Regulation is amended by striking out section 23(2) and substituting the following: (2) An examination referred to in subsection (1) is not a benefit unless the beneficiary (a) suffers from a disease or condition, has experienced trauma or injury, or is using a medication which could reasonably be expected to cause a change in refractive status, or (b) is under the age of 19 years or over the age of 64 years.
