Effective February 21, 2003, the Employment and Assistance Regulation, BC Reg. 263/2002, is amended authorizing the Minister to exempt as income a portion of the CPP benefits that are received by current recipients of assistance in order to offset the income tax liabilities that will result from the recipients receiving those CPP benefits.

Effective February 21, 2003, the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, BC Reg. 265/2002, is amended authorizing the Minister to exempt as income a portion of the CPP benefits that are received by current recipients of assistance in order to offset the income tax liabilities that will result from the recipients receiving those CPP benefits.

The lottery corporation is directed that, in applying the fees collected under section 16 of the Gaming Control Act in accordance with section 14(2) of that Act, it must do so on a monthly basis, on or before the last day of each month and in the amount or amounts that the lottery corporation received for the previous month.
