(a)	effective May 3, 2004, the following provisions of the Local Government Bylaw Notice Enforcement Act are brought into force by this regulation:
	(i)	sections 1 to 30
	(ii)	section 32 insofar as it adds section 266.2 to the Local Government Act
	(iii)	sections 33 and 35
	(iv)	section 37 insofar as it adds section 333B to the Vancouver Charter
	(v)	sections 38 and 39
(b)	effective May 3, 2004, the attached Bylaw Notice Enforcement Regulation is made, and
(c)	effective January 1, 2005, the following provisions of the Local Government Bylaw Notice Enforcement Act are brought into force by this regulation:
	(i)	section 31;
	(ii)	section 32 insofar as it adds section 267.1 to the Local Government Act;
	(iii)	sections 34 and 36;
	(iv)	section 37 insofar as it adds section 333C to the Vancouver Charter.

B.C. Reg. 429/2003 - the Community Charter Interim Regulations, be amended by adding the following section: Application of definitions to Vancouver 6
(1)	The definitions in the Local Government Act and the Community Charter apply to the City of Vancouver in relation to the application of the provisions referred to in section 2.1 (1) and (2) [application of Local Government Act and Community Charter to city] of the Vancouver Charter to the city.
(2)	Subsection (1) is deemed to have come into force on January I, 2004, and is retroactive to the extent necessary to give it effect on and after that date.

B.C. Reg. 495/92 - the Petroleum and Natural Gas Royalty and Freehold Production Tax Regulation, is amended as follows:
(1)	1 Section 1 (1) is amended by adding the following definition: "spud date", in relation to a well, means the date selected by the Oil and Gas Commission as the date on which the ground was first penetrated for the purposes of drilling the well;
(2)	2 Section 6 (1) is amended in paragraph (a) of Item 1 by adding "in a well" after "well events"
(3)	3 Section 7 (7) (d) is amended,
	(a)	in the first row of the table under the heading 'Incremental Value $/Metre" in the portion of the table headed "West" by striking out "1500" and substituting "750", and,
	(b)	in the first row of the table under the heading 'Incremental Value $/Metre" in the portion of the table headed "East" by striking out "900" and substituting "450"
