| Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation The Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation is established. The duties, powers and functions of the Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Treaty Negotiations respecting Negotiations, Negotiations Support and Treaty Settlement and Implementation Costs as described in section 11 of Appendix A of order in council 565/2001 are transferred to the Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation. The duties, powers and functions of the Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services under section 16 of Appendix A of order in council 565/ 2001 are transferred to the Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation. |

| Advanced Education The Ministry of Advanced Education is continued. The duties, powers and functions respecting the BC Innovation Council are transferred to the Minister of Advanced Education and Minister Responsible for Research and Technology. |

| Attorney General The Ministry of Attorney General is continued. The duties, powers and functions that were transferred to the Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services by section 17 of Appendix A of order in council 565/2001 are transferred to the Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism. |

| Children and Family Development The Ministry of Children and Family Development is continued. The duties, powers and functions relating to the Child Care Services Program are transferred to the Minister of Children and Family Development. |

| Community Services The Ministry of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services is renamed the Ministry of Community Services. |

| Economic Development The Ministry of Small Business and Economic Development is renamed the Ministry of Economic Development. The duties, powers and functions respecting the British Columbia 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat that are not otherwise transferred by this order, are transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and the Minister Responsible for the Asia-Pacific Initiative and the Olympics. The Minister of Economic Development and the Minister Responsible for the AsiaPacific Initiative and the Olympics is designated as the official to whom the reference in section 9 (3) of the Special Accounts Appropriation and Control Act to the Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services is considered to be made. The duties, powers and functions respecting the Premier's Technology Council are transferred to the Minister of Economic Development and the Minister Responsible for the Asia-Pacific Initiative and the Olympics.
