The Schedule to the General Appointment Order, 2006, OIC 656/2006, is amended as follows:

Debbie Smollett is appointed as Ministerial Assistant in the Office of the Minister of Children and Family Development to work for the Minister of State for Childcare. Effective July 1, 2007,

1.  Sections 79 to 84 of the Finance Statutes Amendment Act, 2007, S.B.C. 2007, c. 7, are brought into force, and

2.  B.C. Reg. 506/2004, the Real Estate Services Regulation, is amended by adding the following section to Part 5:

Where the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia has property situated in a municipality, it must pay that municipality, in and for the year 2007, a grant of money equivalent in amount to the sum of money that would be payable as real property and business tax if the property were not exempt from these taxes.

Schedule 4 of B.C. Reg. 447/83, the Revised Regulation under the Insurance (Motor Vehicle) Act, is amended by repealing and replacing the Statutory Notice - Section 20 Uninsured Motorist, Form CL263.

Effective June 1, 2007, section 43 of B.C. Reg. 244/2002, the Liquor Control and Licensing Regulation, is amended re: training program.

Statutory Authority: Motor Vehicle, s. 210 (2) (m) and (9) (c)

B.C. Reg. 334/91, the Motor Vehicle Fees Regulation, is amended in item 6 of the Schedule by striking out and substituting all the words in the first paragraph.

Section 34.05 (1) (d) of B.C. Reg. 26/58, the Motor Vehicle Act Regulation, is amended by striking out "4 500 kg" and substituting "5 500 kg".

MINISTERIAL ORDER 117

Ministry Responsible: HEALTH

Statutory Authority: Health Professions, s. 17

The following changes are made in the membership of the Board of the College of Dental Technicians of British Columbia:

1.  Azim Lalani is reappointed as a public member for a term effective May 16, 2007 and expiring on May 16, 2009; and

2.  Mary Bruce and Diane Minichello are appointed as new public member for terms effective May 16, 2007 and expiring on May 16, 2008.

The Surrey Pre-Trial Correctional Centre in Surrey is designated as a hospital for the purposes of Part XX.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada, while the Provincial Forensic Psychiatric Institute is located there.

Statutory Authority: Mental Health, s. 3 (1)

The Surrey Pre-trial Correctional Centre is designated as a "Provincial mental health facility" under the Mental Health Act, while the Forensic Psychiatric Institute is located there.

Ministry Responsible: ABORIGINAL RELATIONS AND RECONCILIATION

Statutory Authority: Nisga'a Final Agreement, Implementation Chapter, p. 5

Whereas the Implementation Committee was established on May 11, 2000, in accordance with paragraph 5 of the Implementation Chapter of the Nisgaa Final Agreement; effective March 19, 2007, Margo Elewonibi is appointed at pleasure as a member of this committee representing British Columbia; and effective March 19, 2007, Barbara Murphy is appointed at pleasure as an alternate member of this committee representing British Columbia.
