Approval is given to the Oil and Gas Commission to enter into an Agreement entitled Oil and Gas Consultation Agreement with the McLeod Lake Indian Band, a copy of which is on file with the Deputy Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.

Section 6.3 (3) of B.C. Reg. 4/83, the Health Act Communicable Disease Regulation, is amended by striking out "May 21, 2008" and substituting "May 21, 2009".

1.  The following health care practitioner special committees of the Medical Services Commission are continued:

(a)  the Chiropractic Special Committee;

(b)  the Dentistry Special Committee;

(c)  the Massage Therapy Special Committee;

(d)  the Naturopathy Special Committee;

(e)  the Optometry Special Committee;

(f)  the Physical Therapy Special Committee;

(g)  the Podiatry Special Committee.

2.  The following health care practitioner special committees of the Medical Services Commission are established:

(a)  the Acupuncture Special Committee;

(b)  the Midwifery Special Committee.

3.  Powers and duties are set out.

4.  OIC 219/95 is repealed.

1.  The Health Care Practitioners Special Committee for Audit to exercise the powers, duties and functions of the Medical Services Commission under sections 3 (8), (9), (10), 5 (3), 15, 36 and 37 of that Medicare Protection Act with respect to the following health care practitioners:

(a)  Chiropractors;

(b)  Dentists;

(c)  Massage Therapists;

(d)  Naturopaths;

(e)  Optometrists;

(f)  Physical Therapists;

(g)  Podiatrists;

(h)  Acupuncturists;

(i)  Midwives.

2.  OIC 1604/99 is repealed.

Ministry Responsible: TOURISM, SPORTS AND THE ARTS

Powers or functions of the Minister of Tourism, Sport and the Arts are delegated to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Tourism Division, of the Ministry, as they relate to claims and interests asserted by the Squamish First Nation, arising from the proposed Garibaldi at Squamish Resort Project.

All the right, title and interest of the Crown acquired by the escheat of described land in the name of Pine Grove Community Club is transferred and conveyed to Pine Grove Community Club. This transfer is on the condition that the land is used for playground or park purposes.
