Farm Practices Protection (Right to Farm) Act

SPECIALTY FARM OPERATIONS REGULATION

Definition

1 In this regulation, "Act" means the Farm Practices Protection (Right to Farm) Act.

Specialty wood crops

2 The following specialty wood crops are prescribed for the purpose of paragraph (f) of the definition of "farm operation" in section 1 of the Act:

(a) populus species;

(b) salix species.

Exotic animals

3 The following types of exotic animals are prescribed for the purpose of paragraph (n) of the definition of "farm operation" in section 1 of the Act:

(a) alpaca and llama;

(b) musk ox;

(c) emu, ostrich and rhea;

(d) partridge species, pheasant species, quail, silkie and squab.
